- Each pop of color is a story of life. From the lit windows and lamps, to the flowers, to the cafe patrons: there is a journey unfolding. The poodle conjures up a Pandora's box of sentiments. At first, one may feel the woman is being so gracious to take the pup out for a walk in the rain. Then you step back to see all the beauty that surrounds the two, and a new perspective is realized: perhaps it's the dog that is providing the kindness! Is the rain truly all that bad in the end? Not only did it provide the bursting colors in the flowers, but also all those seen throughout the city as each traveler holds a bright umbrella above their head which is reflected back in the puddles below.
